Are you trying to think of a fun theme for your baby shower or baby sprinkle? With all the trendy donut shops opening lately this diapers and donuts baby shower is a fun idea!
My favorite part of planning any party is putting together the focal table. In this case it was the donut bar with 5 different donut choices and a build your own yogurt parfait. I used this black paper and a white chalk pens for the backdrop to draw the words ‘donut bar.’ I created a DIY tassel garland out of tissue paper that I had laying around the house. I’ll definitely have to show a tutorial for a DIY tassel garland in a future post. This garland is similar and is priced very well.
I also printed labels with script writing that described each donut. They were taped to the backdrop so everyone knew what they were eating, and I created a quick DIY yarn topper for the donuts. Adding small details to any party really makes it memorable!
We had a mimosa bar which also served as a juice bar for those that didn’t want champagne. I used these carafes and picked up most of the other serving ware from IKEA (my favorite place to get party dishes, glasses, etc.)
Since this was a diapers and donuts shower all the guests that brought diapers were entered into a raffle to win prizes. We also played a few games and everyone guessed the baby stats.
I used these Custom Designer Baby Shower Cookies as favors and they were a hit!
Your next baby shower will be a great time with a diapers and donuts theme and your guests will be so impressed with your party planning skills! Happy party planning!
