My home office doubles as my craft room and I knew I needed to add some functional organization to the room. This DIY craft room pegboard was the perfect way to display my craft supplies!
I picked up a large peg board from Lowes and we measured the space above my desk so it would fit perfectly. I also picked up some trim board from Lowes in order to make a frame around the pegboard. The frame makes all the difference for the finished look. We used two large heavy duty screws through the pegs to hold it to the wall. Make sure you drill your screws into the studs for additional stability. I use this super low cost stud finder.
Most of the time I like using Benjamin Moore paint but this time I picked up a few Behr colors. The pink is Sugar Poppy P170-4 and the teal is Green Parakeet P430-3.
I also picked up a package of these hooks from Amazon and since it has 52 pieces included I had plenty of options for organizing! I tried things a few different ways, but look how cute those scissors are hanging on the pegboard. So glad I have a place to display rather than sticking in a drawer.
All of the holders were found at Joann’s or Michael’s and a few of them are votive candle holders. I love re-purposing items to give them a new use.
