My daughter loves kittens so what better theme for her 2nd birthday than vintage kitty birthday party? We had so much fun putting this party together. I started by googling free vintage kitty clip art and a ton of images came up! I downloaded the image below and then I went to Groupon to buy a cheap canvas art coupon. One of the most inexpensive ways to add a focal point and texture to parties is to include pictures on a canvas. Groupon is my go to place to find large over sized canvas options for cheap. This 16×20 was $9.99 and it gives you so much bang for your buck!
One of my favorite elements was the kitty cake! We went to a local bakery and we showed a few inspiration pictures and this is what they came up with. Talk about cute for a little girl! Audrey absolutely loved it!
Audrey loved her cupcake too!
Here is our final dessert table with kitty cupcakes and cookies as well. I wish I would have found these cute plates to use when I was putting the party together.
I love throwing parties and tend to go all in with a theme. We had a bounce house for the kids and when guests arrived they were greeted with kitty ears and tails.
It was was really fun to put together a kitty birthday party! Check out the little monster party I put together for my son’s first birthday.
