Is it already Thursday?! I usually like to post the house progress update earlier in the week, but time got away from me. Last week was all about the window installation! I am so happy with how all the windows turned out. This post is going to be pretty picture heavy because they really speak for themselves.
Now, I don’t wish for snow, but I can imagine us sitting in this room in January watching the snow fall out these picture windows with a fire burning. So cozy!!
It was hard to get good front exterior photos, but here it is! I can imagine board and batten siding, painted white and the windows will pop so nicely.
We went with a more modern grid line (did you know those grids are called muntin bars…so odd!) instead of a traditional smaller grid. I’m so happy with the larger look! This is our formal dining room looking out the front side of the house. I posted earlier about my dining room inspiration board and I know this is going to be one of my favorite spaces to decorate.
The entryway has so much natural light and is the only space in our house that has large ceilings. I was standing at the top of the stairs looking down toward the front door. The transom window was such a great choice to add more light to the space.
Is it possible to love the back view of a house just as much as the front? The walkout basement slider is enormous and let’s in great light to the basement! The little window to the left of the basement slider is my future craft room and I’ve been pinning craft room inspiration like crazy! So may ideas for that space.
This is the view from the screened porch looking at the living room.
This massive slider was crazy to try to maneuver. It took the crew some time to get it in place just right. Entertaining in this basement will be so fun!
